Timothy Adam Dierking

Timothy Adam Dierking, 47 of rural Malta Bend, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
Tim was born on March 12, 1979, in Sedalia, and was the son of the late Lesley A. Dierking and Connie Sue Fiene Dierking who survives of Malta Bend. He was baptized at Zion Lutheran Church on March 25, 1979 and then confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma on April 4, 1993.
Tim was a 1997 graduate of Santa Fe High School, attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, and was a 1998 Alpha Gamma Sigma pledge class.
Tim married the love of his life, Misty (Hemme) on Aug. 5, 2006.
He was a lifelong farmer. Nothing meant more to him than teaching his kids how to farm and having them working alongside him.
Tim had a real love for coaching. He poured his time, energy and heart into every kid he coached. He didn’t just teach them; he supported them in everything they did.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served on Trinity Men’s Club, Trinity Athletic Board, Trinity Evangelism and as an usher. He was a member of the Santa Fe School Board and a past board member of the Santa Fe Ball Association.
Tim enjoyed golfing, fishing, and mushroom hunting. He was an avid BBQ pitmaster competing under his team, Table Scraps. In hard times, he was the friend you could count on without question. In good times, he was the one calling to get you out to golf, fish or just enjoy the day. He tried leaving everyone he met a little better for knowing him.
In addition to his mother, Connie, and his wonderful wife, Misty; he is survived by his children that he loved with all his heart: Brilee Sue and Korben Timothy; two brothers: Johnathan P. Dierking (Lauren) of Webster Groves, Mo., and Jeffrey A. Dierking (Maci) of Oceanside, Calif.; in-laws: Kevin & Brenda Hemme of Concordia, Trisha (Matt) Boland of Waverly; Cass (Kendra) Hemme of Concordia; nieces & nephews: Caroline, Scott, Adalynn, Kaden, Ashton, Ayla, Timber, & Kenton.
Tim was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents: Junior & Irene Fiene, Wallace & Dorothy Dierking.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Alma with Pastor Bernard Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Blackburn. No visitation will be held. Instead, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Waverly Community Building following the burial. Memorials are suggested to Family Choice (supporting youth activities), and an online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.
