June Ragland, 79, of Marshall, died Saturday, May 2, 2026, at her home.

Born Feb. 4, 1947, in Buffalo, Mo., she was the daughter of Edgel Nicholson and Helen Bailey Nicholson.

On Oct. 1, 1966, she married David A. Ragland. June lived in Marshall most of her life where she was a seamstress and cook.

June is survived by one son, Doug Ragland of Columbia; one grandson, Samuel Ragland; daughter-in-law, Lidia Ragland of Marshall; four siblings: Rhonda Tindle of Humansville, Charles Nicholson of Buffalo, Terri Arnold of Malta Bend, and Leslie Mincks of Bolivar; as well as many other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband (Dec. 2, 2011); one son, David H. Ragland; and numerous siblings.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
