Dennis Melvin Famuliner, 72, of Carrollton, passed away July 3, 2026, at Liberty Hospital. Dennis was born Nov. 12, 1953, in Carrollton, the son of Sherman and Jean Famuliner. He attended Wakenda Elementary School and graduated from Carrollton High School in 1972.

Dennis was a grain and livestock farmer. After the flood of 1993, he expanded into land reclamation and earthmoving.

Dennis was active in his community and supported many organizations in Carroll County.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Sarah Jane Famuliner; daughter Aubrey Michele Famuliner; grandson Augustus Monroe Finkeldei, all of Carrollton; brother Donald Joe Famuliner of Wakenda; and several nieces/nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Martha, and sister-in-law Kelli.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton. A celebration service will follow at noon at the Carrollton Country Club. Memorials may be made to H.E.L.P.
