Donald Wayne Boulware

Donald “Don” Wayne Boulware, 71, of Moscow Mills, Mo., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at SSM Hospital, Lake St. Louis, Mo.

Don was born on Feb. 18, 1955 in Columbia to Woodrow and Jalie (Davis) Boulware. He was raised on a farm in Hatton.

He graduated from North Callaway High School, then earned a bachelor’s degree in education with a minor in Journalism from Northeast Missouri State. After graduation, he began coaching football in Centralia, Mo. He continued to coach for numerous schools throughout Missouri and Kansas, including a stint at Santa Fe High School in the early 80s.

Don later attended the University of Kansas and obtained his master’s degree in athletic administration. While living in Ottawa, Kan., he met Anna Selleck. They were married a year later, on June 22, 1991.

Surviving are his wife, Anna of Moscow Mills; his children: Danielle (Eric) Johns of Arnold, Mo., Alexandra Boulware of Greenwood, Ind., Tyler Boulware of Maryland Heights, Mo.; his sister-in-law, Brenda Boulware; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael Boulware.

Visitation was held Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory in Troy. A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Troy with Father Eddie Voltz officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Troy.
