David Kent Arndt was called home to the Lord on December 3, 2025 in Westminster, Colorado at the age of 80. He was born on on March 30, 1945 to Josephine (Fleming) Arndt and Charles Edwin Arndt in Higginsville, Missouri. David grew up in Higginsville and graduated from Higginsville High School in 1964. He also attended Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri and was married to Jan Anson in 1966.

He received his degree in Agriculture and Business from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri in 1969. Following graduation, his professional career began with International Harvester Trucks (now Navistar) in Kansas City, Mo. where he started as a Sales Representative. He moved on from there to Fort Wayne, Indiana, back to Kansas City and then to Ankeny, Iowa as Regional Manager. In 1980, David moved to Green Bay, Wi where he became Navistar s representative for Schneider National. He retired from Navistar in 1988. He then went to Salt Lake City where he worked for First Security Bank as Vice-President of Leasing. He retired to Colorado where he and his wife Maryjane lived on their ranch in Parker, Colorado.

David is survived by his daughter Janna Arndt and his son Timothy Arndt, 2 wonderful grandchildren, Abbie and Anson Arndt, stepdaughter Summer Kachagian and his sister, Beth Arndt. His son, David Kent, Jr, preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents, his brother Paul, sister Myrna and brother Dennis.

David will be buried at Mount Tabor Cemetery, 12507 Mt Tabor Rd, Odessa Mo. 64076. A memorial service will be held on September 24, 2026 at 1 lam at the Cemetery.
