Sandra “Sandy” L. Alvey, 85, of Concordia, formerly of Raytown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026. Sandy was born on April 29, 1941, to Louis Krause and Ethel Nolen Krause who preceded her in death along with two brothers, Richard “Dickie” and Terry “Butch” and one sister, Sharon “Sherry.”

Not having any children, Sandy had a special place in her heart for her pets and animals in general.

Sandy retired from AT&T having worked for Southwestern Bell before their merger.

A private family inurnment will be held at Blackburn Cemetery in Blackburn.
