Susan Ann Erickson, 82, of Marshall, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Susan was born on Dec. 11, 1943, in Marshall to the late Russell Ballew and Mary Garrett.

She retired from Con Agra after 35 years of service and from the Marshall Habilitation Center after seven years of service.

Susan loved her cats and was known as the cat woman. She loved to party and play the lottery, and she was a Baptist by faith.

She is survived by her children: Christopher Lee Erickson (Cissi), Deidra Ann Scott, Kevin Dale Erickson (Christy), Lisa Renee Erickson and Ryan Leif Erickson (Deborah); 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Russell Garrett; and Arthur and Annie Howery who raised her and she always said they were her parents.

Graveside services were held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2026, at High Hill Cemetery in Slater with William W. Harlow officiating. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and an online guestbook may be signed at www.campbell-lewis. com
