Tom McGarry with the very first car he ever raced. The car was built by his dad, John “Speed” McGarry and Don Higley in 1967. Higley raced the car and in 1979 Speed purchased it for Tom. Tom won his first race with it in 1982. Then his brother Ron raced with it from 1982-1983 while Tom raced in another car he’d built himself.
