The Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville is seeking help to wash headstones and perform minor landscaping tasks during the week of April 20 – 24. The cemetery is preparing for their major National inspection and wants to put the best face on the facility and grounds.

Volunteers may contact the cemetery Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 660-362-6111. If any group organizations wish to perform a weekend cleanup, that can be arranged. Additionally, the cemetery will happily sign off for any local students for community service hours.
