West Central Electric Cooperative awards scholarships to area seniors

West Central Electric Cooperative has announced the 21 area high school seniors who have been named recipients of a West Central Electric Cooperative Scholarship.

Winners include: Holden High School seniors Macey Greene, daughter of Darren and Mandy Greene; Lillian Carver, daughter of Jason and Andrea Carver; Malea Brewington, daughter of Shawn and Mendy Brewington; K’Lea Westover, daughter of Mark and Jaime Westover; Lone Jack High School seniors Barrett White, son of Dan and Tara White; Cash Hale, son of Jason and Kristin Hale; Brenna Burns, daughter of Debra Burns; Lauren Roth, daughter of Kevin and Kellie Roth; Odessa High School seniors Kiley Thomas, daughter of Nathan and Rebecca Thomas; Isabelle Miles, daughter of Jeremiah and Melody Miles; Jordyn Beal, daughter of Rebekah and Matthew Beal; Lafayette County C-I High School seniors Nora Knipmeyer, daughter of Victoria and Aaron Knipmeyer; Blair Bergsieker, daughter of Tim and Courtney Bergsieker; Knob Noster High School seniors Oliver Defenbaugh, son of Shaun and Kylene Defenbaugh; Mallory Brant, daughter of Jeremy and Tina Brant; Oak Grove High School senior Katherine Beltz, daughter of Robert and Kim Beltz; Wellington-Napoleon High School senior Izabel Lopez, daughter of Emily Lopez and Elias Lopez; Santa Fe High School senior Joel Long, son of Eric Long and Jeri Long; St. Paul Lutheran High School senior Chloe Fahrmeier, daughter of Brandon and Mary Fahrmeier; Grain Valley High School senior Clara Hunt, daughter of Brad and Michelle Hunt and Kathryn Carter, daughter of Bryan and Stephanie Carter.

The West Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. Scholarship is awarded each year to several area high school seniors whose parents or legal guardians are current members of the electric cooperative.
