On Saturday night, July 4, area residents gathered at the Waverly marina to enjoy the Thunder at the Port display, put on by JL Events. In addition to various vendors, music and activities for kids, the event included a booming fireworks display which lasted approximately 18 minutes. (Santa Fe Times photo by Klarissa Olvera)
Due to the popularity of Thunder in the Port and the limited parking in the area of the marina, this year a shuttle service was organized to help guests get to the marina for the fireworks display. The shuttle service was provided free of charge by Rides Here, LLC.
