On Friday, May 1, students at Trinity Lutheran School performed their annual spring program, this year titled “Pirates of the I Don’t Care-ibbean.” The play features a Plattsburg Pirates baseball fan who is struck in the head with a ball and travels to a dream-land with pirates who are under the control of a mean pirate and forced to guard his treasure. The lesson the program told was of being true to yourself and remembering that your real treasure can be found heaven, not on earth.
