Santa Fe R-10 Foundation: Providing for present & future support
The Santa Fe R-10 Foundation, Inc. was incorporated as a Missouri non-for-profit corporation on May 10, 1994. The Foundation is governed by a nine member board of directors. One board member represents the District Board of Education and one represents District administration. The other board members are comprised of private citizens residing in the District. Current board members presiding are: Howard Dieckhoff, President; Deana Aversman, Vice President; Dennis Rolf, Secretary/ Treasurer; Merle Dierking, Lisa Nevels, Mike Knipmeyer, Randy Sleeper, and Amy Tracy. Since its inception, the Foundation has grown significantly and currently serves as an independent funding source for eighteen scholarships. In addition to providing academic scholarships to students and graduates of the District, the Foundation’s goals are to provide high-quality education by purchasing equipment and supplies which cannot be readily acquired with District funds, and to establish an endowment fund for long-term support of the District.
Presently, the Foundation manages the following scholarships: Beumer, Bill Fox, Brad Hemme Ag, Bricken-Groves, Curtis Buhlig, Dale & Deana Aversman, Donna (Rolf) Zitelman, Donnis & Greg Prather, Ernst Family Nursing, Gary and Linda Littrell, Justin Moenkhoff, Ledru “Ted” & Bertha Kirchhoff, Lester J. Rolf, Stanley L. and Vivienne E. Ponce, Greg and Donnis Prather, Sandra (Peters) Schroeder, Santa Fe Agri-Leaders Charter Members, Scott Duffey Family, Stoll-Harbert, Tina Jo Burton, Tri-City Country Club Scholarship, Uhrig Health Care, and Vernon & Frances Lueck Scholarships. The 2026-2027 academic year budget promises to expend $31,950 thanks to conscientious fund management.
The Foundation encourages you to make your investment in the future of the young people of the Santa Fe R-10 School District. Gifts may be made to the Foundation to 1) Honor the memory of someone; 2) Fund a specific purpose or program; 3) Create a scholarship; or 4) Provide general support of the Foundation as decided by the Foundation Board of Directors. Gifts of money or property may be made outright, or they may be promised as part of your estate plan by will or trust.
