Next Grief Support Group session begins June 15 in Marshall

Is your heart broken? Do you feel lost or stuck?

Fitzgibbon Hospital will hold an information meeting about their free Grief Support Group on Monday, June 15, from 6-7 p.m.

The meeting will be held in the Classroom Suite (second floor).

Common myths surrounding grief include: You should grieve alone, time heals all wounds, you can just replace your loss, you should be strong for others, or you should bury your feelings. The Grief Support Group meetings help you learn the action plan that allows you to let go of pain following death, loss of health, job, relationship or any other type of loss.

The group consists of classes held over an eight-week period (nine weeks including the informational meeting). It is led by Dr. Richard Deford, a board-certified chaplain and certified Grief Recovery Specialist. For more information, call 660831-3235 or visit www.fitzgibbon. org/grief.

This event is made possible through memorial contributions to the Fitzgibbon Hospital Foundation.
