Line dancing classes held in Marshall

Line dancing classes will be held at the Marshall Senior Center (14 E. Morgan, Marshall) every other Friday from 6-8(ish) p.m. for the foreseeable future. The next class will be held Friday, June 26. All ages and skill levels are welcome to attend! The class is free, but tips are welcome.

Grand Pass Picnic scheduled

St. Luke UCC in Grand Pass will hold its annual church picnic on Wednesday, July 15, 6 – 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to come and share in the games, opportunity quilt drawing, the dunk tank, and lots of food, along with ice cream and homemade cakes and pies. Again this year, 50% of the proceeds of the picnic will be donated to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home in La Monte, Mo. The Marshall Municipal Band, as always, will entertain with a concert of your favorite selections. This will be their 93rd year to perform at the picnic. You can expect to have a great evening of fun and fellowship.

Waverly Community VBS

Waverly Community VBS is scheduled for July 19-23 from 6-8 p.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship. A volunteer meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 12 beginning at 2 p.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship. VBS is open to children age 4 (by Aug. 1) 8th grade. Supper will be served nightly Please pre-enroll to save time on the first night and help event planners order supplies.
