Mrs. Shryer was born June 3, 1925, near Weaubleau. Missouri to Fred W. and Mary E. (Chaney) Deafenbaugh. She married William Gentry Shryer of Collins on June 3. 1942.

She was employed for many years as a Bank Teller at First National Bank.Carrollton. Missouri, and US Bank, Richmond, Missouri. She fondly enjoyed conversations with her banking friends. Mabel June was actively involved in the United Methodist Church. Eastern Star, and Republican politics.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred W. and Mary E. (Chaney) Deafenbaugh; husband. WM G. Shryer; two sisters. Mildred Kauffman, and Tressie Moore.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond United Methodist Church.

Graveside Services were held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM. at Robinson Cemetery in Weaubleau. Missouri, under the direction of Sheldon-Goodrich Funeral Home in Osceola. Missouri.
