Nettie A. (Wood) Berglund, 106 of Lexington, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.

Nettie was born March 16, 1920 in Dover, to James L. and Annie (Dennis) Wood.

She married Raymond H. Parker, and they divorced. She later married Buster Berglund.

Nettie retired from Dunbrook Shirt Factory after 32 years of service.

Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Buster, two brothers: Jesse Wood and Ralph Wood; a sister, Ethel Menaugh; a daughter, Deanna Parker Due; a son, James Parker; and a great-grandson, Matt Parker.

Nettie is survived by two sons: Robert Parker of Lexington and Ray Parker of Lee’s Summit. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Lexington United Methodist Church. A funeral service followed at the church. Interment was in Memorial Park Cemetery (Machpelah).
