Inside John Knox Village East: On Sunday May 10th, we celebrated Mother’s Day with local church services followed by a lunch of Ham Steak with Pineapple, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Country Green Beans, Beef Vegetable Soup, Salad Bar and Dessert. In the evening, we held our Vesper’s Service led by Pastor Liz Lindsey of the First Presbyterian Church. On Monday the 11th, we had Exercise Class and we played Bridge in the evening. We also had our Women’s Coffee in the Gathering Room and played Night Bingo. On Tuesday the 12th, we enjoyed a performance by the Lafayette County C-I Middle School and High School String Orchestra. We also made some goodies in our Baking With Courtney activity. On Wednesday the 13th, we had lunch at Legends of Asia in Blue Springs. In the afternoon, we enjoyed Shaved Ice/Snow Cones in the Friendship Lounge. On Thursday the 14th, we had Kandy and Karaoke in the Friendship Lounge. We also had a Carnival in the Gathering Room. On Friday the 15th, we went shopping in Warrensburg and we held our Town Hall meeting. We also had a BBQ in the Courtyard and Happy Hour in the Gathering Room.
