P.EO. Chapter awards scholarships

Lexington’s P.E.O. Chapter HX is proud to announce the 2026 recipients of its scholarships.

Given by the chapter and funded by Mike Repphun, the Christine Repphun Memorial P.E.O. Scholarship was awarded to Lexington High School senior, Kathyrn Carter, the daughter of Bryan and Stephanie Carter. At Lexington, she was active as a team captain of cross country, softball and cheerleading. She was a member of National Honor Society and attended Missouri Girls’ State. Kathryn plans to major in nursing at UCM.

The P.E.O. Scholarship was awarded to Eliana Taylor, daughter of Josh and Mone Taylor. Eliana was active in National Honor Society, tennis and served as the Student Council public relations officer. She plans to attend the University of Missouri and major in journalism.

The P.E.O. sisterhood is a nonprofit organization that has helped more than 129,000 women pursue educational goals by providing more than $462 million in educational assistance, making a difference in women’s lives through six philanthropies and a foundation.
