Larri Ann Leonberger, 78, of rural Sweet Springs, died Friday, May 15, 2026, at Apple Ridge Care Center in Waverly.

Born May 22, 1947, in Beloit, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Lyle Behling and Geneva Lee Churchill Behling.

On Dec. 30, 1985, she married Lloyd H. Leonberger who preceded her in death on May 24, 2018.

Larri had worked in various occupations through the years and then earned her L.P.N. degree. Following that, she worked as a nurse in various locations.

Survivors include one son, Richard Vondrak (Paula) of Pardeeville, Wis.; one sister, Dorothy Trewyn of Ft. Atkinson, Wis.; one brother, Tom Behling (Mary) of Fort Atkinson, Wis.; as well as other family members.

At Larri’s request no services will be held, and she will be placed with her husband in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville.
