Michelle Renee Austin Walker, age 51 of Carrollton, passed away Sept. 1, 2026 at her home. Michelle was born August 23, 1975 in Waverly, to Larry Leroy Austin and Marietta Mae (Eiserer) Austin. Michelle was baptized at an early age in the Lutheran Church in Norborne. She attended school in Carrollton and later achieved her GED.

She worked for Dexter Axle, The Carrollton Country Club, and Life Care of Carrollton, where she was the activity director for many years.

On Aug. 24, 2024 she was united in marriage to Juan Walker.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father LarryAustin, paternal grandparents Betty and Charles Austin, maternal grandparents Edgar and Leona Eiserer, and many extended family members.

She is survived by her husband Juan Walker of Carrollton, daughter Mariah Leona Pearl Austin Hager (Gabe) of Carrollton, step-daughter Taylor Brockert, grandson Beckham Austin Hager, mother Marietta Mae Eiserer Stephenson (Bud) of Carrollton, brother Mark Wayne Austin (Tina) of Waverly, father and mother-in-law Tim and Carmen White, and much extended family.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2026 at LaBella Hall in Carrollton, followed by funeral services. A graveside service immediately followed at Oak Hill Cemetery in Carrollton. The family asks that memorials be directed to Mariah for a college fund for Beckham. Those can be mailed to Hidden Valley Funeral Home at 2 E. Benton Street, Carrollton, MO 64633.
