William Daniel “Danny” Gooch, 73, of Carrollton, passed away Monday, September 21,2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Danny was born on January 9,1953, in Randolph County, the son of William Harold and AliceLaRue (Whipple) Gooch. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Shirkey Hospice or American Cancer Society. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home.

Cremation with services to be announced at a later date. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of arrangements.
