HISTORY MADE! FIRST STATE CHAMPION EVER FOR THE LADY HDSKERS!

After a tough two days of wrestling over in Columbia, history was made for the Husker Wrestling program and Lafayette County C-l.

Senior Lorelei Weaver took the Gold Medal home after a great couple of days in COMO. This is the first time in school history that a Husker girl has won a title.

Fellow senior Xavier Myers had a great meet as well for the boys, placing second in his final trip to Columbia.

Overall three boys and four girls battled it out for the Huskers during the championships. The line up also included senior Abe Morris, and sophomore Evan Chrisco for the boys, and sophomore Kyamila Huseynov, junior My la Petersen, and junior Gillian Davenport for the Husker ladies. Myers, Weaver, Huseynov, and Davenport were returners to state competition.
