New Resident Profile: Barbara Gillilan is one of our newest residents, moving to John Knox Village East from right here in Higginsville. Barbara grew up in Lexington and graduated from High School there. She came from a large family of 12 brothers and sisters. She had 5 children and during her working years was a Med Tech at Meyer Care Center. She is very happy to be at John Knox Village East.

Lafayette County Resource Fair planned
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, Lafayette County Enterprises and Lafayette County Bridging Support Services (formerly known as Lafayette County Board of Sheltered Services) have partnered to hold a Resource Fair. The event will be held at both locations, LCE (109 W. 19th St. Higginsville) and LCBSS (508 Fairground Ave, Higginsville) from 5-7 p.m.

LEXINGTON, MO – The Lafayette County Commission recently hosted a countywide Road & Bridge Training for Special Road District Commissioners, road district employees and county officials. The event focused on strengthening communication, encouraging collaboration, and providing updates on funding and issues impacting transportation infrastructure throughout Lafayette County.
