Lady Huskers Split Conference Games with Lexington and Carrollton
The Lady Huskers took on a pair of conference foes last week, the first one being another meeting with the Lexington Minutewomen. The Blue and Gold won the previous meeting on the ‘Women’s floor in front of a packed gymnasium back in the middle of January, by three points, 48-45.
MRVCE Conference Crown Clinched by The Huskers
The Huskers enjoyed success on the hardwood last week at home in a three game stint. First up on 2-9 was a second meeting with KC Hogan Prep Academy. The teams met earlier in December at the Husker Classic with the Huskers winning that one by a lopsided count of 75-20 over the Rams. The Blue and Gold would cruise to victory again in this contest posting a turbo clock victory of 63-31. Seniors Brock Page and Kadin Aversman led the Husker offense each with a baker’s dozen, and Freshman Parson Stoner had 12. Full Scoring: Fisher 8, Todd 6, C. Aversman 5, Stoner 12, Johnson 2, K. Aversman 13, Page 13, Burns 4. Wells had 11 for HPA to lead the Rams.

Lady Husker Grapplers Send Four to State
On Friday and Saturday the Lady Huskers mad the long drive down 65 highway to Buffalo, Missouri the site of Class One District 3 Wrestling competition.

Lady Huskers Get Two Big Conference Victories on the Week
The Lady Huskers hosted Richmond on 2-3-26 at the East Gym. in an MRVC East contest. The teams had played previously with Richmond winning in the Husker Classic by convincing fashion, 4928. Chloe Tyler came out hot again in the opening period dropping 9 points to the Lady Spartan's 8. Ada Stoner swatted a shot in the frame and had an assist as well.

Wrestling Holds Tri, Preps for Districts
Husker Wrestling had one meet on the agenda last week, and now prepares for districts and possibly beyond.

Husker Basketball Remains Unbeaten in Conference Play, Falls to Crest Ridge
The Husker boys had three games last week including two conference match ups. The first game of the week was with an old rival, the Richmond Spartans.

Huskers Take Fourth Place at Hamilton Tournament
It was time for the Hamilton Tournament last week where the Huskers have seen a great deal of success the past five years since entering, having won the championship three times. This year the team entered as the three seed. Night one saw the Blue and Gold take on the purple clad South Harrison Bulldogs. Zayden Fisher got the first bucket, then Parson Stoner scored backdoor o the o ense, Lucas Burns hit, and Fisher hit a three to close the first quarter, Huskers down 15-9.

Lady Huskers Hang Tough With State Ranked Foe, Finish Fourth Up North
Along with the boys squad the Lady Huskers took their show on the road again up north to the Hamilton Tournament. In game one, the ladies would face the East Buchanan Lady Bulldogs, and captured an opening night win advancing to the right side of the bracket.
