Husker Baseball Drops Pair of Conference Games
Things looked good after one inning of play on Tuesday night against Holden at home, tied 1-1 after one, however a series of walks and errors spelled doom for the Blue and Gold after that in the 2nd inning. After a pitching change by the Huskers, Holden sent one off the fence in left, and then blasted a home run over the right field fence. Eventually spreading the Huskers 17-1 after three innings.
