It was a mixed bag for the United States Men’s Soccer Team, as they had some shining moments, where they were very sharp, but had other times when they did not play well, which prevented them from advancing as far as they had hoped for in the World Cup Soccer Tournament, as they were eliminated in the Round of 16.

Eleven different American League pitchers, combined to toss a 3 hit shutout out, as the American League All Stars defeated the National Leaguers 4 to 0, in the 96th Major League All Star Baseball game, that was played a week ago Tuesday, at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

World Cup, Great Soccer, and a Whole Lot More Than That

The Lexington High School and Middle School Volleyball coaching staff invites any girls, in grades 5-12, who might be interested in playing Volleyball this coming year, to a skills and drills camp, which will be held at the Lexington High School Gym, July 27th through July 30th.

Following is a wrap up of the Missouri Boys State High School Golf Tournament in Classes 1 through 5, listing the top 4 teams, and top 5 individual golfers in each Class.

The Lexington High School Football schedule will look a lot different this year, as the Minutemen will face four different non conference opponents, than they have in each of the past two seasons.

Three different players, who have ties to the Kansas City area, were selected in the first round of the NBA Basketball Draft, that was held last week at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
