Application period for LRHC Auxiliary scholarship open until June 1
The Lafayette Regional Health Center Auxiliary is offering $1,000 scholarships to worthy students. Applicants must have completed at least one year of post secondary education and must be within one year of completion of the post-secondary human health-related program for which they are enrolled. Applicants must be a United States citizen and preference will be given to Lafayette County, Mo., residents.

Spring brings new growth in greenery all around us. Unfortunately, not all greenery is good for Missouri. Non-native plants don’t belong here and they’re causing serious damage to local habitats from backyards to fields and forests.

WCE RoundUp Foundation awards grants to help fund local projects

On Saturday, May 9, Lafayette County residents are invited to participate in a Community Cleanup Recycling/Waste Collection event, with items accepted at the Odessa Community Building (601 W. Main St., Odessa) from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
