Missouri State Highway Patrol reminds Missourians to celebrate safely this 4th of July
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reminding Missourians to celebrate the 4th of July and America’s 250th anniversary responsibly this year.
Motorists are reminded to consult the MoDOT Traveler Information Map in advance due to ongoing road construction across the state. Both motorists and boaters are also reminded to follow all of Missouri’s laws, including the use of seat belts and life jackets.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s 2026 July 4th holiday counting period will be at 6 pm on Thursday, July 2nd and continue through Sunday, July 5th at 11:59 pm. All available troopers will patrol Missouri roadways and waterways to enforce traffic and boating laws during this time period.
