Minutemen fall to Knob Noster

The Lexington Minutemen Baseball Team had a rough day as they fell 16 to 3 to Knob Noster in an MRVC road game last Thursday.

After giving up a run in the first inning, the Minutemen grabbed a 3-1 lead in the second frame as Jonathan Groves and Tristyn Hurshman both singled and both scored on a single by Isac Huffman, who then scored on an error. Knob then scored 4 runs in the bottom of the second, 2 in the third, and they broke the game open with 9 runs in the fourth inning. Groves had two hits for Lexington, while Alex Krsft, Kale Sander, Drew Bollmeyer, Hurshman and Huffman all had one. Hurshman, Bollmeyer, Groves and Hunter Meyer shared the pitching duties in the game for Lexington.
