Short-handed track teams compete at Richmond

A week ago Tuesday, the Lexington Girls and Boys Track Teams competed in the Hoot Middleton Invitational Meet at Richmond, but they were a little short handed in terms of numbers, as it was decided by the coaches, that most of the Lexington long distance runners would sit this meet out.

The lone first place winner in the meet for Lexington was Addison Smith, as she did compete, and she took first in the 3200 Meter Run.

As a team the Lexington Girls placed fourth, while the Boys finished seventh. Shot Put: Lainie Schumacher, 6th Javelin: Amanda Rodekohr 5th Pole Vault: Elizabeth Rodekohr 6th.

Lexington Boys: 100 Meter Dash: Brody Neece 7th 4×100 Relay: Neece, Davin Cole, Cam Goodloe, Cash Cole 7th 4×400 Relay: Neece, Goodloe, Davin Cole, Cash Cole 6th Pole Vault: Ayden Harned 3rd Triple Jump: Cash Cole 8th.
