The Lexington Middle School Boys and Girls Track Teams got a chance to perform before the home crowd, and they had some good performances in the Lexington Middle School Track Meet a week ago Tuesday on the High School Track here.

For the Lexington Girls, Kennedy Beal won two events, as she ran her personal best, in winning the 1600 Meter Run (6:04), and she also took first place in the 800 Meter Run (2:46).

Ailayah Gilmore placed second in both the Shot Put (36’ 1”) and the Discus (79’ 4”), while Amelia Arcuri placed third in the Pole Vault. Loreli Morris paced seventh in the 400 Meter Dash, while the 4×100 Meter Relay Team of Audrey Bayne, Emerson Borgman, Sutton Eaton and Gabby Grosso also placed seventh.

For the Lexington Boys, Hunter Harned placed second in the Long Jump (17’ 7”), and fourth in the 400 Meter Dash, while Wesley Andweson finished fourth in the 100 Meter Dash.

The 4×100 Relay Team of Jack Taylor, Madaux Emerson, Anderson and Harned place seventh, while the 4×200 Relay Team of Aiden Bayne, Elijah Jones, Christian Skivers and Emerson placed eighth. In the Team Standings, the Lexington Girls placed sixth, and the Boys tenth.
