Daniel Lee “Danny” Scarborough, 68, of Marshall, died Monday, June 8, 2026, at his home.

Born March 15, 1958, in Waverly, he was the son of the late Everette Burns Scarborough Sr. and Mildred Lucille Yates Scarborough. Danny lived in Marshall all of his life where he was a 1976 graduate of Marshall High School.

He worked as a forklift operator at Con-Agra where he was known as “Scabby.” He worked there nearly 40 years.

Survivors include one son, Josh Scarborough (Hannah) of Savannah; one grandson, Dalton Klise; four brothers: Tom, Rusty, Jim, and Tim Scarborough; three sisters: Pat Wilkens, Nancy Van-Buskirk, and Judy Scarborough; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
