Santa Fe PAT day at the park

The Mini Chiefs Parents at Teachers will hold a park day in Alma on Saturday, June 13, from 9 – 11 a.m. Come enjoy a fun, free play event at the Alma park. There will be multiple activity stations, refreshments and lots of fun! Please bring children in clothes you don’t mind them getting messy in.

Trinity Lutheran School to host VBS

Trinity Lutheran School will hold Vacation Bible School “Mystery Masterpiece” on June 15-19, from 8-11:30 a.m. VBS volunteers will lead the children in music, Bible stories, arts & crafts, snacks, Bible challenges, games and opening/closing worship. Corder Picnic

The 126th annual Corder Community Picnic will be held June 17, 19 & 20, 2026 at the Corder park. The rodeo will be held Wednesday evening with Mutton Bustin’ at 6:30 p.m. and the rodeo at 8 p.m., Miss Corder pageant Friday evening at 6 p.m., and Saturday will feature the Corder VFW breakfast (7:30-10 a.m.), the 4th annual Corder VFW Car Show (Registration 8 a.m., judging 11 a.m., awards 2 p.m.), parade at 5 p.m., games, rides and more! Driver Exam stations closed

The Missouri State Highway Patrol would like to remind the public that driver examination stations throughout the state will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth.

Normal operations will resume on Monday, June 22, 2026.

Good Friends & Neighbors

On the first Monday of every month, a community group in Waverly called Good Friends and Neighbors meets at the Waverly Baptist Church. Meetings begin at 10:30 a.m. with a potluck lunch to follow. All are welcome to attend!

Waverly Community VBS

Waverly Community VBS is scheduled for July 19-23 from 6-8 p.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship. A volunteer meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 12 beginning at 2 p.m. at Victory Christian Fellowship. VBS is open to children age 4 (by Aug. 1) 8th grade.
