County Dems hear from candidates
The Lafayette County Democratic Central Committee and Club had a large turnout for the April 12 meeting in Higginsville. Candidates for county, house district and state offices introduced themselves and engaged the group in discussions about issues in the upcoming elections.
Donations sought
American Legion Auxiliary is requesting donations to help send students to Girls State. This opportunity allows juniors to participate in mock governments and learn how systems run. Charges filed in Carrollton murder
At the request of the Carrollton Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control is investigating a homicide which occurred on Wednesday, April 22.
