Missouri Century Farm deadline extended to May 15
If your farm has been in your family since Dec. 31, 1926, it’s not too late to apply for recognition as a Missouri Century Farm.

The budget arrived in the Senate and work on it has begun in earnest. The Senate Appropriations Committee worked tirelessly on the budget last week, going through each page one-by-one. This week it came to the Senate floor for the body’s discussion and vote.

MU Extension Field Specialist Missouri Highway 13 extends nearly the full length of the state, running from Bethany near the Iowa border to Branson at the Arkansas state line.

SF Alumni Foundation holds annual Crappie Tournament
The 7th annual Santa Fe Alumni Foundation Crappie Tournament was a held this past on Saturday, April 18. This year, 14 adult teams and nine youth teams registered for the event. Santa Fe track & field dodges rain drops to get events in
Santa Fe was able to squeeze in some Track and Field action last week when almost all the other activities were rained out. Wyatt Doak continued his strong season gaining a pair of first place medals in the High Jump at the Wellington meet over in Odessa, and the Bill Hamman meet in Lexington. The girls relay teams took home Gold Medals as well last week. Santa Fe Board remembers Tim Dierking, reorganizes & hires new staff
Before settling into business, the Santa Fe R-X Board of Education took time to reflect on the service that Tim Dierking had provided to the board of education as well as all he had given to his community over the years. He will be missed.
