Rural health care funding secured
Governor Mike Kehoe and the Missouri Department of Social Services recently announced the State of Missouri has been awarded more than $216 million in funding for the first year of the Rural Health Transformation Program, a $50 billion initiative designed to strengthen healthcare access, improve outcomes, and support innovative care in rural communities.

Local Democrats donate to county’s food pantries
Lafayette County Democratic Central Committee and Club voted to donate to the food pantries in our county for the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. We gave monetary donations to pantries in Concordia, Higginsville, Lexington, Odessa, Waverly and Wellington.
